Independence is built through everyday experiences. NDS Supportive In-Home Services provides individualized support in the person’s home and community to strengthen daily living skills, build confidence, maintain routines, and work toward greater independence.
Supportive In-Home Services are designed around the individual’s existing home, routines, abilities, and goals. Rather than fitting life around a program, support is incorporated into everyday experiences—helping individuals strengthen skills, increase independence, make choices, and participate more actively in their home and community.
Support may look different for every person because it is based on their assessed needs, preferences, ISP outcomes, and desired level of independence.

Support to express wants and needs, make informed choices, communicate preferences, and participate in decisions about everyday life.
Support aligned with the individual’s ISP outcomes, preferences, established routines, abilities, and desired areas of growth.
